AMANI CREATIVES TO EXPLORE SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE CULTURES OF CUBA AND DR CONGO

Amani Creatives, Manchester’s African-led Arts & Cultural Organisation, is to launch an exciting new initiative to explore the similarities between the rich cultural traditions of two communities living in the North West, thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Manchester’s Congolese community have long been aware of similarities between Cuban traditions and their own culture, and now Amani Creatives want to explore these roots further.
