AFRICAN ARTS FESTIVAL LAUNCHES IN MANCHESTER  The stage is set for the launch of a brand new annual African Arts festival for Manchester. The first Amani festival, which is the brainchild of African-led social enterprise, Amani Creatives, will take place between 12 noon and 8pm on Saturday, 22 July at Sacred Trinity Church, Chapel Street, Salford M3 7WQ. It represents the opportunity for all residents and cultures of Salford and Manchester city centre to come together to celebrate high quality African arts, including live music, storytelling, face decoration, dance and workshops, thus enriching the local arts scene.
